We are thrilled to introduce asamono’s plant pots!
asamono is a ceramic brand started by Asami Hatanaka, based in Los Angeles. After teaching ceramic classes and workshops for about four years at a community studio in the historic West Adams area of South Los Angeles, Asami launched asamono. She draws inspiration from traditional Asian techniques and Japanese aesthetics to create simple and rustic vessels that suit modern homes. Her pieces, through their shapes and glazes, convey a sense of Japanese culture and background, offering a touch of Japanese pottery amidst their foreign charm. Asami’s plant pots, crafted with her rich sensibility, feature intricate carvings and variations in glaze, showcasing her creativity in every detail and enhancing the expression of the plants. We invite you to consider adding them to your home decor.
