2024.11.25 THE POSTER CLUB
We have received some beautiful art posters from THE POSTER CLUB, a poster brand from Copenhagen, Denmark. As the cold increases, the season is finally turning to winter. Decorate your room with art posters that can completely change the atmosphere, and enjoy the chilly winter season.
Artist: Hanna Peterson
Hanna Peterson is an artist from Sweden, currently based in Gothenburg, Sweden's second-largest city. Her signature use of soft colors and unique textures stems from her experience as a pattern designer and her keen sensibility. Her pattern designs were showcased at Copenhagen Fashion Week. Her attention to color, movement of materials, and texture is strongly reflected in her current art pieces, with themes of fabric and the human body giving her works a distinct depth.
The Dream
This work depicts a woman with a dreamy expression. Through the movement of the body, facial expression, soft colors, and contrasts of light and dark, a mysterious atmosphere of falling into a deep dream is conveyed. Her works often feature figures with vague expressions, reflecting her belief that she is a "dreamer" and her strong attraction to the power of dreams and imagination. "People, including myself, sometimes overthink things. But if we could turn those thoughts into more free, imaginative thoughts, life would become much more enjoyable," she says. Her art offers viewers a sense of freedom and dream-like wonder.
Dalmatian in Sweatshirt
A Dalmatian in a sweatshirt looks somewhat melancholic. The artist’s unique sensibility, along with her belief in the power of dreams and imagination, is gently reflected in this piece.
Artist: Malene Birger
Malene Birger is a designer and artist from Copenhagen. Over the past decade, she has traveled across Europe, launching multiple international brands in the fashion industry. Her inspiration comes from the significant changes she has experienced. Her abstract graphic expressions evoke energy and moments of sudden inspiration.
Abstract Carpets
She is also influenced by artists like Pierre Soulages, known as the "painter of black," and Abstract Expressionism giant Franz Kline. Her works feature simple yet powerful use of colors such as black, cream, white, and earth tones, with strong arrangements of lines.
Organized
Monochrome expressions can sometimes be too impactful, but the warm whites used by the artist blend easily with interiors and suit both modern and natural spaces.
We also offer large-sized art posters. During this event-filled season, enjoy the festive atmosphere by decorating your walls with posters in various sizes.
