About
Enkel is a ceramic brand by potter Mami Murofushi.
The name “Enkel” comes from the Swedish word meaning “simple and just right,” reflecting her desire to create objects that sit naturally within everyday life. Before turning to ceramics, she worked in residential design, where she became particularly aware of how color and material can shape the atmosphere of a space and the way we experience it. This perspective continues to inform her work today, with color at the heart of her approach to ceramics.
