“Enkel” means “simple and just right” in Swedish.
With the wish for these pieces to quietly accompany everyday life, each vessel is made with care. Mami previously worked in residential architecture. Through the process of creating spaces, she came to realize how the colors and materials placed within them greatly influence the emotions of the people who live there and the flow of time in their daily life. That experience now informs her approach to making vessels that cherish “color.”
