After graduating in Ceramics from Tokyo University of the Arts, Yuko completed her Master’s at the same institution. Her interest in ceramics began during her studies, where she was drawn to the rich, unpredictable expressions created through firing. Embracing the transformation of clay and glaze in the kiln, she continues to explore glaze combinations and firing techniques. Her softly toned pieces are designed to gently accompany everyday life, becoming more familiar and comforting with use.
