Tableware from the ceramic brand Reiko Egawa ceramic works by Reiko Egawa. Created using the traditional nerikomi technique—where layers of clay are blended together to form patterns—her work brings together the spontaneity of chance and the precision of careful planning. The resulting designs flow in harmony with each vessel’s form. Rather than being painted on the surface, the patterns emerge from the clay itself, giving each piece a gentle presence imbued with refined craftsmanship.

・Each piece is handmade, so variations in size, shape, and pattern may occur.

・Although Reiko herself has used a dishwasher for about two years without problems, durability may vary depending on the machine, so dishwasher use is generally not recommended.
Reiko Egawa began her journey in ceramics when she chose to study pottery at university. She was captivated by the freedom of shaping clay directly with her hands and the pleasure of creating objects that could be used in everyday life. By subtly adapting and combining traditional techniques, she continues to explore fresh expressions in her work. While enjoying the creative freedom of form and decoration, she takes care not to compromise functionality, resulting in pieces that fit seamlessly into daily living.
