Niko Take depicts the small stories hidden within familiar nature on her pieces, viewing them through a gentle and attentive lens. Drawn to making things from a young age, she joined her high school ceramics club, which led her to pursue formal studies in ceramics at Aichi University of the Arts. The motifs in her work are animals and plants she encounters in everyday life. While using these familiar subjects, she places equal importance on ease of use and approachability, creating pieces that feel both intimate and functional.
