Leather Octagonal Tray Large Brown

¥6,930

The leather trays by Kazunaga Ota are made using the hides of wild deer and boars that have been culled primarily as a measure against wildlife damage. By dyeing the leather twice with myrobalan—a plant native to Southeast Asia that has long been used in India for dyeing monks' robes—and walnuts, a rich and nuanced brown color is achieved. (Aging process: The brown color deepens over time.)
