Steve Fitch, born in 1949, is an acclaimed American photographer. He earned his MFA from the University of New Mexico in 1978 and has taught photography at prestigious institutions, including UC Berkeley, the University of Colorado at Boulder, Princeton University, and since 1990, at the College of Santa Fe. His work is featured in the permanent collections of renowned museums such as the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Museum of Modern Art in New York, and the Art Institute of Chicago.
