This is a collection that documents a photography project by French artist Thomas Fougeirol and American artist Joey Tang. From 2013 to 2018, they set up a temporary darkroom in the suburbs of Paris, inviting 136 artists to create works using the photogram technique. A photogram is a process where light is directly exposed onto photosensitive paper to create images, paying homage to early photographic techniques and experimental art of the 20th century. This project brings a fresh perspective on the creation and sharing of art, proposing a new approach to collaborative practices in the contemporary art world.
