This photobook by American photographer Aaron Schuman was created between 2014 and 2018. It combines clippings from the local Massachusetts paper "Police Reports" with Schuman's own photographs taken in the surrounding areas of Amherst. The "Police Reports" records small incidents and events in the community with a straightforward tone, and paired with Schuman's quiet, subtly ironic images, they create a unique atmosphere where humor and unease coexist.

Aaron Schuman is an American photographer, editor, and writer based in the UK. He currently serves as a Research Fellow and Senior Lecturer at Arts University Bournemouth and also teaches at the University of Brighton. Schuman is the founder and editor of the online photography journal "SeeSaw Magazine".
