Charlotte Perriand (1903-1999) was a French architect and designer. She believed that better design could create a better society, aiming to create functional living spaces. In her 1981 essay "L'Art de Vivre," she stated that the art of living enriches life. When working on design projects, she valued deeply immersing herself in the atmosphere of each place, and in her autobiography, she mentioned that she enjoyed spending time alone, absorbing the essence of a location. Her approach was rooted in accepting each place as it was, with a deep respect for nature and the life present in those environments.
