Issue #78 of the Spanish architecture magazine 2G Magazine features Japanese architect Junya Ishigami. He gained international recognition with his proposal for the Japan Pavilion at the 2008 Venice Biennale of Architecture. After working for several years under Kazuyo Sejima, he founded "Junya.Ishigami+Associates" in 2004, quickly gaining attention as a young architect. At Venice, he presented a unique installation featuring delicate garden drawings and a greenhouse. That same year, he completed the KAIT Workshop at Kanagawa Institute of Technology, both works earning him recognition in the Japanese architectural scene. In recent projects, Ishigami explores the relationship between nature and architecture, creating structures like "Water Garden" and "Church of the Valley" that merge natural and geological elements.
