This work by American photographer J Carriere captures images taken during his time in Israel, part of a decade spent wandering through Africa and the Middle East. As an outsider living far from home, Carriere sees himself reflected in the lives of migrant workers and refugees, delicately portraying a sense of nostalgia and displacement.
