Sophie Walker is a UK-based landscape designer active worldwide, focusing on sustainable design in her gardens. Her notable works include the expansive garden at the De Pont Museum in the Netherlands, a public garden in Ulsan Park, Korea, and the redesign of Borde Hill Gardens in the UK. In London, she has worked on an NHS therapy garden and participated in the national Holocaust Memorial project. She has also been commissioned to design a garden in memory of human rights activist Helen Bamber. Her interest in rare plants led her to create gardens using seeds collected from the wild, and she spent eight years on a conservation project in the Bahamas.
