Sohrab Hura's photobook, created between 2022 and 2024, captures themes of love, joy, family, and everyday life with kinetic illustrations. Using soft pastels inspired by Technicolor, Hura adds vivid colors to his work, blending photography with a painterly touch. The book features fluid, emotional portraits, still lifes, and landscapes, including tender family moments, vibrant sunsets, and flowing water. Surreal elements, like scenes of cremation and ghostly figures, reveal the strangeness and fragility of daily life. The work merges Impressionism and Surrealism, offering a deeply evocative visual experience.
