BOOK OF STACKS, STACKS OF BOOKS by Jared Bark

¥8,800

A monograph by American artist Jared Bark. Drawing on influences such as nature observation, quantum theory, and Eastern philosophy, Bark has long worked across a range of media. Since 2012, he has been creating sculptural works that involve stacking books—ranging from towering columns placed in forests and fields to charred, painted, and milled book structures made in the studio. This publication brings together, for the first time, a decade of Bark’s explorations using books as both subject and material.
