Golden Apple of the Sun by Teju Cole

¥7,700

A photo book by American writer, photographer, and art historian Teju Cole. In the days leading up to the 2020 U.S. presidential election, Cole photographed his kitchen counter in Cambridge, Massachusetts, every day. The arrangement of objects was left to chance, and the images quietly document the unfolding of daily life. Accompanied by essays that delve into a wide range of topics—hunger and fasting, poetry, the history of photography—this intellectually rich book offers a layered meditation where the past and present intersect.
