This monograph presents the work of Belgian artist Tinus Vermeersch, whose surreal worlds draw on distant pasts and folk beliefs. Working across drawing, painting, sculpture, and ceramics, Vermeersch evokes the atmosphere of medieval art through meticulous techniques and hand-crafted ceramic pieces. His practice, rich in anthropological nuance, offers a unique exploration of history, myth, and imagination. Published in conjunction with an exhibition in Kortrijk, Belgium, the book provides a comprehensive look into the artist’s intricate, otherworldly creations.
