HOPE HOUSE by Simon Fujiwara

¥8,250

Hope House is a thought-provoking monograph by British artist Simon Fujiwara, exploring themes of truth, fiction, memory, and commodification. Centered around his ambitious 2018 installation at Kunsthaus Bregenz, the book documents a full-scale replica of the Anne Frank House—a powerful symbol transformed into a product of global tourism. Through texts and images, Fujiwara investigates how personal and historical narratives are mediated, consumed, and reconstructed in contemporary culture. Blending art, architecture, and social commentary, Hope House challenges viewers to reflect on the contradictions of modern memory culture and the uneasy intersection of history, identity, and spectacle.
