Debut photobook by Japanese photographer Toshihisa Tomiyasu. This series captures a fixed view of a ping-pong table in a Leipzig park, seen from his dormitory window over the course of five years. The table, used variously as a sunbathing spot, laundry surface, playground, or meeting point, quietly reflects the natural rhythms and everyday behaviors of park visitors. Presented in a deadpan style, the images document subtle changes in light, season, and human presence. An interview—sparked by the story of spotting a fox—offers insight into the evolving expression of the landscape despite the consistent composition.
