Photobook by American contemporary artist Roni Horn, documenting a series of gifts she received over the years across 120 pages. From 1974 to 2015, she was given various small objects, books, and natural items, all photographed with clarity against stark white backgrounds. The result is a composed visual archive that reimagines these offerings as a “portrait of the self” through objects. Each carefully chosen item offers a glimpse into Horn’s life and relationships, forming a rare and intimate record.
