At first glance, a book about wine might feel a little intimidating. Yet this volume begins not with knowledge, but with feeling. Written like a personal notebook by Anders Frederik Steen, a winemaker based in southern France, it gathers daily observations, doubts, and discoveries. Tasting, making, choosing—none of these come with a single correct answer, and this open perspective gently unfolds throughout the book. No prior knowledge of wine is required. In fact, it is precisely for those who are still discovering it, offering a space to find one’s own sensibility and way of engaging with wine.
