A monograph by Norwegian photographer Ole John Aandal. In the aftermath of the 2011 events in Oslo and Utøya, Aandal photographed the government district from his balcony over the course of ten years. Through shifting light and changing seasons, the images quietly reflect how a city confronts loss. The repeated viewpoint gradually transforms from observation into an act resembling prayer. Accompanying the passage of time and memory, the work invites the viewer to share in this process, leaving a deep and lasting resonance.
