A monograph by British filmmaker and artist Steve McQueen. Composed of photographs of plants taken in Grenada, the Caribbean island nation, the book unfolds with a quiet, meditative rhythm. Vividly rendered in rich color, these images are not only visually striking but are also deeply connected to the history and memory of colonialism. Layers of time, culture, and the persistence of life gently emerge within the landscape. With a poetic sensibility, the publication invites reflection on both the abundance of nature and the weight of history, leaving a lasting and contemplative impression.
