Created for the centenary exhibition celebrating the 100th anniversary of Arne Jacobsen, held in 2002 at Denmark’s Louisiana Museum of Modern Art, this poster was produced as part of a retrospective exploring Jacobsen’s career as an architect, as well as his modernist and furniture design work. Among the highlights of the exhibition was House of the Future (1929), a pivotal project designed by Jacobsen in collaboration with Flemming Lassen. First presented at a major building and housing exhibition held at the Forum in Frederiksberg in 1929, the project received awards and widespread attention, marking a major turning point in Jacobsen’s career. Even nearly a century after its debut, the house retains a strikingly futuristic presence.
