Ojuna grew up in Copenhagen but spent her early childhood in Greenland. Her parents met in Prague, so Czech was the common language at home. While she has lived in Denmark the longest, her memories of Greenland are deeply ingrained. The sunlight reflecting off the white snow, the fjord mountains, rocks, and moss she saw as a child greatly influence her current work.
