Portuguese artist Ana Frois transitioned from a decade-long career in architecture to pursue drawing and visual arts. She aims to capture her unique perspective, focusing on reflections and duplications. Her work explores themes like home, time, and nature transformations, emphasizing overlooked shapes and structures. Ana works with various papers, particularly enjoying aged materials. She has recently experimented with using red thread to create art. Originally from Coja, Portugal, she now resides in Coimbra but frequently returns to her hometown. Her primary workspace is a serene study in Coimbra, providing her with the solitude needed for her creative process.
